People have been keeping bees and eating their honey for thousands of years. Eating honeycomb is one way you can enjoy the fruit of bees’ labor. Doing so may offer health benefits, ranging from a lower risk of infection to a healthier heart and liver. This ardent lover of nature always wished to barge into the domain of bee-keeping and narrated the story of how his winged angels helped him to become a successful entrepreneur.

However scaling greater heights of entrepreneurship did not come easy for this 30-year-old Ranjeet. His diary is filled with dates for schools and colleges where he waxes eloquent on honeybees, honey cultivation and other products including the honey comb, wax, and pollen. He is selling many varieties of honey such as - Tulsi honey, neem, amla, mustard, lichi, crunch (punnai) . The taste, colour and medicinal values differ as it is based on the nectar and nature of flower.

A dream of becoming a successful agriculture-based entrepreneur got motivated during his studies B.Sc. (Ag.). So, at the age of 30, Ranjeet chose not to wallow in self-pity. Instead, he decided to make his life sweeter. His serious and series of thoughts and a restless search for a niche led him into the premises of Agricultural College where he registered with SABAGRIs as a start-up for 2 months courses that were in the pipeline – honey comb and others. He always felt strongly attracted towards the winged angels and knew that apiculture is his future and he plunged into it. Today the start-up is popularizing the honey-bee based products like Comb honey (the purest form of honey), Pollen tablets, and unprocessed raw hoiney.
